About LinkBacksDoes anyone know how to reset the BIOS password on a Dell Inspiron 1501. I have tried all google has to offer. Removing the mobo battery, letting it sit overnight, all the programs !BIOS, killCMOS, and a couple others. Nothing works!!!!!!!!!! Even the shit thoughthe command screen... Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

No way. Someone has gotta know something I don't. I can get to the data. I just want the BIOS password off so I can remove the HDD password every time I log in.

I can start up and run fine, and access my data. I need to get the HDD password off so it doesn't pop up each time.

u have to short out the pins on the board w/battery out
there will be 3 pins near the battery and you need to lift the double pin off and move it to the other side and it clears out the memory or flash the biosI was once kicked out of Barnes and Noble for moving all the Bibles to the fiction section...

it is "DELL" BTWI was once kicked out of Barnes and Noble for moving all the Bibles to the fiction section...
