Default 939 X2 cpu, mobo combo

Anyone using these still. I'm looking to downgrade so I can save some cash cause I don't need much power just to play BF2 or GW right lol.

Are you happy with them if you are using this.

Thats the exact thing I was using before my last upgrade. I only upgraded because my hdd drives croaked. No issues playing. Let me know if you will be in the market for RAM for that. I got 1GB(2x512) matched Geil DDR 400 mhz sticks, I could let you have cheap.

Well I guess i'll have to find a 939 board capable of DDR2. I want to go with an X2 cpu for a change see how they work. Waiting to hear back on an X2 5200 I think it is now on a local for sale site.

939 Does not support DDR2 and it never did and will never support it lol. Im running an FX-60 and 4 gigs of ram on my system and it works flawlessly, handles bf2 with ease.

Just because I knew some 939 boards did support DDR2 I thought I'd bring yas out of the stone age lol.

Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939 Socket 939 DDR2 Motherboard - eBay (item 230389699165 end time Nov-17-09 07:22:27 PST)

This might be a mistake though i'm not sure. My buddy said he's had a 939 board that took DDR2 mem but that was all I found on ebay so... yeah

Yes & no dude. All my pay is being garnished for arrears & a couple other things that i'm trying to get paid off so I clear next to nothing when I do work. I'm trying to go through the courts to get the arrears lessoned till it's caught up so I actually have some money to attempt to live off of right. ha I didn't know they could legally take everything you had without having to go to court for it either. uhg
