Funny you ask. I type a lot and I type fast. So fast most people don't even believe me when I tell them. People that see me say it looks like I'm hitting all the keys at the same time and are amazed how the computer is many words behind what I have already typed. I think I'm going to get that keyboard. I don't type really fast unless I'm typing an email where I don't need to watch what I'm saying. I usually type really fast in a shell on linux. I can't handle when keyboards get old because they just start losing their softness, and I find it harder to type because it takes longer for the keys to register. However, in linux my keypress rate is higher so I can hit a for a second and I've got 8 on the screen. Works good for deleting a line.

I think you'd like this keyboard once ya got used to it dude... its really soft to type on.. only beef is the smaller backspace key.

I was sold with all of this until I looked at the keyboard layout. Fail. I need a insert/home/pgup row and delete end and pg/down row that isn't utter bullshit like on this keyboard.

The backspace key needs to stay where it is, mostly for linux, when deleting command line arguments or commands. Also for pasting in windows, shift+insert in putty or other ssh clients. Also the PGUP and PGDN for scrolling through the console scroll back.

It's a deal breaker for me, re-learning all that stuff when at work and at home you have the same keyboard.

Yea, the backspace key has to be bigger, and the insert has to be above the delete key.
