Thanksgiving is a holiday that we associate not just with feasting, but with football. With that in mind, Electronic Arts is releasing Madden NFL Arcade a little earlier than originally planned.
PlayStation 3 owners will be getting the game a day earlier than their counterparts, with the game becoming available on PSN on November 24. The Xbox 360 version will be out November 25.
The game is based on quick, 5-on-5 football, much like 3 on 3 NHL Arcade. All 32 teams will be available, with the goal being to mark 60 yards downfield in four downs. Penalties, first downs and even the clock have been eliminated in favor of set scoring limits, resulting in matches that last no more than ten minutes.
