That will not happen in 100+ years yet alone THIS year. Not without a Nuclear war at the very least.

Hawaii will never "go" to Japan or China and Alaska will never "go" to Russia. China owning the west coast -- over my dead body and about 300 million other Americans. This entire article sounds like the ignorant ramblings of a Russian who would like to see the US fail.

I was thinking more along the lines of the usa failing and a new government comes kinda like the one from our founding fathers only revisioned for the better

I don't hope to see a new government in my lifetime. During that transition there will be many years of bloodshed, and chaos. People will starve and be killing each other for food water and shelter. Oh wait what do I have to worry about, I live in a conservative state where we have many guns, we will rule the west coast. We will sign a treaty with Texas, Arizona and Nevada, and take over California and Washington.

I was hoping for a easy fun transisition to a new government

id move to canada but their health care is worse than here. Id move to europe but they all talk funny and like the smell of their own farts. And anywhere else well i guess australia would be nice so maybe usa isnt so bad maybe im a drama queen maybe im pissed off for no reason

Empires can last for thousands of years and the American one is only an infant compared to some from the past. It's hard to know when or how it's gonna happen and it's nearly impossible to predict so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Some believe the USA to be in it's golden years and the best ones are already behind them.

I highly doubt it any of it is true and 2012 will come and go just like every other world ending prediction I've lived through in my short 30 years on this planet. the year 2000 was supposed to be cataclysmic and yet we remain... the lights were still on at 12 midnight as well as my student loan at the time. Nothing will happen.

I can tell you even back in the 70's people believed it was all gonna end when we had the fuel crysis which was just a scare tactic.
