The US has trouble keeping unarmed mexicans out of the US... How are they going to keep afghanistan secure at all... In history when has anyone won against an insurgency with out using bull dog tatics.

On this subject he probaly got it just to show the world stands behind him but this is only my opinion.

Right now they are paying the Taliban bribes to move through the country and they take this money and buy weapons from the Russians and whoever else has them. It is the definition of war... Chaos.

Wrong again it is winter over there right now... people aren't fighting nearly as much as before and it will be light scrims until it warms up. Women were doctors and dentists and nurses etc... people living in that country were educated excluding the small villages scattered throughout the mountains. We including the US military are trying to return a country back to its people and push out the Taliban.

Troop deaths have been increasing for a long time. We just had the deadliest months in history so please excuse me for calling bullshit. It is war and everyone involved wants it to end besides the special interests and some cheer leaders that will not sign up.

I dont have the time nor the inclination to sit and read CIA/Taliban drivil. You should know that the Canadian military doesn't go to war often and when we do it's for very good reason and purpose. We do in fact try and bring peace before bullets and always have. There is a reason why our country is respected among other countries I can tell you it didn't happen by accident.

We went and got this POW back and his still under Canadian military jail/protection. We are in fact trying to lead the way in honorable military actions and even though it takes longer to get things done due to red tape we do try and follow the rules of engagement. All that being said we do make mistakes... the people in the military and running the military are still human and can make human mistakes.

It has gone beyond the CIA and is well funded and supported by whoever now... many believe Pakistan. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from people in general need some basic things to survive. Food, Shelter, Clothing. If the Taliban are giving these things in villages that don't have all 3 of those they will recruit people very easily. The country itself; as i'm sure you are well aware, is very difficult to survive in let alone fight in. Shutting down a mountain road with explosives in the middle of winter would shut it down for months.

Since 2002, 133 Canadian soldiers have been killed serving in the Afghanistan mission. One diplomat and two aid workers have also been killed... not really that bad for 7 years I suppose... some of those were accidents.

I don't understand the specifics of the question. Change what? How the president is just a paid lobbyist? How to replace him with one that is not? Did you want the position to have power? How much do you understand about the title and its objectives?
