And if you dont blame Gen.Champ for fucking up the forums ...

My show truck bit the bucket tonight ...with a blown motor.....

I just wanted to share my sorrow....

I already got my plans set for it ...

302 mustang gt svt motor...
nice little supercharger....
auto trans.....
Mustang rear end....
shortened driveline....
rebuild the frame....with a bunch of new shit ....
rebuild the cab floor...

This was more of a blessing than anything ...Now i will actually do what ive been wanting to do for some time ...just didnt have the motivation for it ....

drop a 383 stroker in it with gm fast burn heads, comp magnum street/strip special cam, comp valve train, h-beam rods, holley dominator carb, deep oil pan, performance oil pump, etc...it will stomp on a supercharged stang motor and it will be naturally aspirated all raw power...you will be making well over 500hp on all motor. its going to have a very wicked lopey idle too..your fenders will be shaking while its running...gonna need to beef up your frame a lil too to handle the torque...

rear end/trans: ford 9" narrowed, or GM 12 bolt, or dana 60. dana 80 is bullet proof but may be too big for your truck without serious bed mods... 3.43 gears, and a borg warner t-56 6-spd manual with a centerforce dual friction clutch, or a turbo400, or 700R4 beefed up with a good converter.

another thought if you want something hardly anyone ever does: get springs in the front that can handle a lot of weight, beef the frame up big time, and drop a 4BT cummins in it with 200hp injectors, fuel plate for the pump, and a s300 turbo...be able to black out the street and have a torque powerhouse under the hood that will take stangs on...n2m it'll run forever...

if your going to go 302 do it carb style I've witnessed a well built 302 stomp a Chev 502 done to the tits it was crazy. both friends rides. why waste the money on superchargers or turbos when you don't need to?

PS I am a Chev man not a Ford guy as well. lol

I can get ya a 4.3 cheap.. and the stuff to do a sy\ty clone... can get ya in the 400hp 500ftlbs range quick and its small enough to fit.
