It's my understanding he is a very well educated man if the powers that BE decided he was the best man for the job then fine... he was voted into office with out too much screwing around with voters unlike Bush.

Wrong again it is winter over there right now... people aren't fighting nearly as much as before and it will be light scrims until it warms up. They are sitting around in their homes keeping warm around fires and drinking butter tea. Poppies are one of the main sources of income for the country and has been for many many years.

Where are you getting this information from exactly? War is War dude... what is happening over there is oppression.. Pakistan is funding religious fanatic schooling over there and breeding terrorists aka religious fanatics. They are doing with with local populace by force in some cases. This country you speak of use to have a royal family that took pretty good care of the country until some war mongers basically took the throne from him.
Women were doctors and dentists and nurses etc... people living in that country were educated excluding the small villages scattered throughout the mountains. We including the US military are trying to return a country back to its people and push out the Taliban.
